Someone could easily be knocked unconscious, but the majority of body shots will cause a lot of pain and a huge bruise. If you are the one who struck the golf ball you are responsible, regardless if you shouted 'fore' or not, you can actually be taken to court, and if you do not have insurance you will have to pay.
