A Boyd's forest dragon is primarily a predator. It feeds on insects and other small invertebrates, using its keen eyesight and agile movements to catch its prey. While it can be preyed upon by larger animals, such as birds and snakes, its role in the ecosystem is mainly that of a hunter.
