NO! no no no no no!!! lol i bought shox a while ago and used them for running shoes (as meant to be) whilst running the "shock" rolled my foot and caused my knee to bend awkwardly making my body weight fall on it causing my acl, mcl, and maniscus to rip. i have this shoe on a shelf to remind me as to how much PAIN-therapy-and inability to join the military it has caused me. never ever buy these shoes. and i speak for not only me but over 100 people who have had the same problem.
Updates April 2nd, 2010:
This is personal preference. I love them for simple walking, and running purpose. I don't run in marathon, but everyday 3 to 4 mile run and they works better than any other running shoes I ever owned. I do see some marathon runner wear them but not as much. You should try them and see how they work for you, I know many shoes store let you wear them for a day or two to see if they works for you.
