What are the advantages and disadvantages of wood fuel as energy source?

Advantages: Easy, Quick, Plenty of it (Renewable - You can grow more trees = more wood)

Disadvantages: Takes long time to grow a large amount, cause pollution, breaking down of the ozone layer, GLOBAL WARMING...
