Where would you find a diagram of a 1985 G20 Chevy van steering assembly?

To the best of my knowledge, this vehicle does not use a steering assembly.

Instead, the column is connected to a recirculating ball type Power Steering gear mounted to the frame. The gear turns a pitman arm which moves a center link mounted on one or two idler arms. The idler arms push/pull the tie rods.
