Did Betsy Ross like arts and crafts?

She was a seamstress and if Arts and Crafts had existed in the 1700's she would have liked it. Her grandchildren made up the story about her creating the American flag. This was done several years after her death. Congress has recognized a man by the name of Francis Hopkins as the creator of the flag. He made the first flag in 1775 for the navy.
