Who was the Governor of California in 1889?

John Weller (born February 22, 1812 in Montgomery, Ohio; died August 17, 1875 in New Orleans, Indiana) succeeded John Neely Johnson as the fifth Governor of California, serving between January 8, 1858 and January 9, 1860, including the whole of 1859.
