When did the braves open?

The Atlanta Braves were founded in 1871 as the Boston Red Stockings. They became the Boston Braves in 1912 and later moved to Milwaukee in 1953, before relocating to Atlanta in 1966. The Braves opened their first game in Atlanta on April 12, 1966, at Atlanta Stadium.
