How do you draw potier triangle?

in order to draw a potier triangle u need to obtain 2 curves namely O.C.C(open circuit curve) and full load zero power factor curve.

1.Draw a tangent to the o.c.c thro origin call it OB (air line)

2.Draw a line PQ parllel and equal to OA where OA is the distance between the

2 curves and it lies on the x axis.

3.from pt Q draw a line parllel to OB such that it intersects the O.C.C at R.

and there you are, PQR is the required potier triangle....
