If you are referring to protection from illnesses (colds/flus):
1) WASH YOUR HANDS! I cannot state this enough and it's importance. Simply washing your hands can eliminate most microbes from being passed on to others.
2) Don't touch others. This spreads germs.
3) Don't share food, drinks, or make-up with others. This spreads germs.
4) If you must sneeze, sneeze away from others into your sleeve or a tissue, and WASH YOUR HANDS afterwards.
5) Keep hand sanitizer available to clients and yourself.
6) Don't touch your mouth, nose, or eyes with your fingers. These are the most common entry points for bacteria.
7) Keep open wounds protected and bandaged. These are direct access points for bacteria to gain entrance into the body.
8) Don't ASSUME things are clean and germ free. Germs are everywhere and a part of our daily life.
