Why is Buzz called Buzz in the Ruby Redfort books?

Buzz is called Buzz in the books because of the people she wanted to kill. The series makes it seem as if she is called Buzz because of the way she sits at a desk surrounded by telephones. The last book reveals that Buzz is an acronym for the names of the people she wants dead. B for Baker, U for Uggerlimb, and Z for Zachery. Bradley Baker, LB, and Hitch.
