Will aluminum tape insulate freezer walls?

Aluminum tape can provide some insulation benefits due to its reflective properties, but it is not an effective insulator on its own. While it can help reduce heat transfer by reflecting radiant heat, it does not have the thermal resistance needed to insulate freezer walls adequately. For effective insulation, a material specifically designed for thermal resistance, such as foam or fiberglass, is recommended.
