In the Titanomachy (war with the titans) Hades was given The Helm of Darkness, which made the wearer invisible. Thus concealed he crept over to the titan's side before battle and destroyed all their war machines.
Of the top three Olympians (Zeus, Poseidon, Hades) Hades alone appears to have remained faithful to his wife. He did kidnap (rape) her to begin with but after a brief unsettled period they seemed to have had a co-operative union.
Hades had no heroic offspring and remained mostly detached from the affairs of men.
Hades kept a pet, Cerberus
Most of Hades dealing are confined to the underworld. There are many stories concerning his affairs with the dead. Of the few living to visit him are: Theseus, Hercules, Orpheus, Ulysses.
