How do you remove the oil filter of a 2008 Volkswagen rabbit?

First, using a T25 Torx remove the splash guard below the engine. Second, drain the oil using 19mm socket. Third, oil filter is below the radiator next to a hose. Use an oil filter extractor. That's it.
