What are computer image devices?

Devices which computers either display an image, or it is a devices which is used to import images into the computer.

Lightscribe for a CD Burner is an example of a computer image device, since it writes an image to the label of a cd. A printer is another example.

A USB web-camera is an example of a device which allows computer images to be imported into the computer.

Less commonly, a computer imaging device refers to a hardware device used for copying the contents of the a computer, including processor state, ram memory, BiOS, and hard drive ROM memory into a file.

These devices are most-commonly used on console devices such as the Nintendo, Gameboy, SNES, Sega Genisis, Sega Saturn, and Playstation I.
