How do you win on Madden 09 online?

In madden 09, you make the team (you've probably done that already), then go to play now and then if you look at the bottom of the screen it should show an icon of a button (Y for xbox and xbox 360, triangle for ps2 and ps3) and next to it it says LOAD TEAM. press the button and then select the initials of your team and your team is loaded as the home or away team (whichever one was selected before)
