It all depends if it's a automatic or a manual transmission? If it's a automatic there is a pan on the bottom side of the transmission that you have to remove. There should be a filter screwed to the underneath of the transmission after the pan is removed. Now if it's a manual transmission to drain the fluid. There should be a plug close to the bottom on driver side or passenger-side. Take the plug out drain all the fluid put the plug back in. To fill the transmission with fluid there is a plug on the side of the transmission up higher than the drain plug. It could be on the driver side or the passenger-side take the plug out. Go to the auto-parts store purchase some gear oil recommended for that transmission. Pump gear oil into the transmission until it starts to come out of the side plug once this happens the transmission is filled to the proper level Put The plug back in.
