How do you remove the rotors for a 2000 tundra?

  1. Remove the wheel from the car.
  2. With a big screw driver pry on the caliper placing the screw driver between the caliper pistons. This will collapse the pistons allowing you to remove the caliper.
  3. Remove the caliper pin retaining spring.
  4. Remove the caliper pins.
  5. Next remove the brake pad retaining clips, found in the middle of the caliper.
  6. Remove the brake pads.
  7. Remove the two bolts holding the brake caliper in place.
  8. Now you're able to remove the brake rotor.
