What is a traditional half and half Irish drink and how is it made?

A traditional half and half Irish drink is made by combining equal parts of Guinness beer and Harp lager in a pint glass. The Harp lager is carefully poured over the back of a spoon to create a layered effect on top of the Guinness. The drink is then enjoyed by sipping the two beers together.
