Honda vfr400r 1989 wiring diagram

i have a problem with the 3 yellow wires that come from the statas to the first conater under the seat on my vfr400r i only got it this morningis been stod for a fuw mounths i changed oil/coolant/powe washed it let dry for 2 hours then sprayed oil conneters with it all and let it dry for 4 hours wiped and shook all moster off left for 2more hours at least 1 of the handel bars/levers needsome attenshionmovd them down abit started it up and after a coupel of mins the 3 yellow wires conneteshion was hot and the plastics plug conneterwas startin to melting could it be water
