As of now, over 30 well-preserved woolly mammoth carcasses have been discovered, primarily in Siberia and the Arctic regions. These finds often include specimens with intact fur, skin, and even soft tissues, providing valuable insights into the species' Biology and the environment in which they lived. The most famous of these discoveries include the 1999 find of a nearly complete mammoth named "Lyuba," which is about 42,000 years old.
