What is the word for fox in Lakota?

The Lakota-speaking tribes had knowledge of another native American tribe often called "Fox" in English, who are closely associated with the Sac or Sauk tribe. In Lakota this tribe is called Peshlekhe.

The Lakota Word for a red fox (the only species they were familiar with) is shungila.
