How does a power steering flush work?

Any machine that has water in often needs bleeding(have some water released) in order to let out any air or water in the system. The trapped air can cause the system to work less efficiently. This 'bleeding' can be done in things like radiators. For most systems you turn a special key that fits with the radiator for example in order to release the water.
