What is a good welcome speech for Christmas at a church?

Welcome friends, guest, and neighbors. The reason why we celebrate Christmas is not because of Santa or because of the gifts you give to one another, but it is that God the creator of the everything who sent his only son to die for us on the cross. If He didn't send us His son then we would be headed to Hell. That is why we should be thankful that God sent His son for us. Now lets sing O come, O come Emanuel.
