A lot depends on who you talk to. Relatives and friends of the 10 million or so people he killed probably had somewhat of an unkind name for him. Soviet Propaganda of the time tells us that school children called him "Papa Joe", which, when one understands the reality of the situation, is another in the bizarre attempts at recasting history that the Soviets used.
