How do you change a battery on a k75 motorbike?

1. unlock seat with ignition key.2. push the lock in to un-latch the seat and lift it up.3. open the lid on the box under the seat.4. insert a screw driver in a hole there and push tab out of way while pulling on the computer / fuel control module cable.5. remove that box / computer / tray.6 undo and remove battery hold down.7. disconnect battery cables.8. loosen plastic fender at base near battery.9. rotate battery 90 degrees.10 lift it up and tilt back and pull it out.

You must buy a manual for the BMW k75 - you will never figure it out even if you have work on other motorcycles. The BMW (expecially k75 / k100) is designed really weird like no other motorcycle. You need the manual and the internet and there is only ONE way to do things any other way will cause problems.

I know I have owned a '92 k75s for 6 years and done many repairs.
