What is the problem with aliano?

Farming - Aliano is located in the Pennines mountain range. Sometimes when it rains there it washes all the top soil away which is good for growing crops, and if it doesn't rain then your crops won't grow which is a shame after the hard work put into it. The land is not srurdy which means well-built and this causes proplems to grow crops.

Emigration - Emigration is a major problem as there is a huge loss in population in Aliano and other similarly sized towns in Italy's South. Need of opportunity and a cut in interest in continuing the farm life of one's parents is the two major reasons for population loss. It has been said by a lot of people that a higher percentage of young people from the South of Italy complete a university education in the North due to a unemployment situation in the south. There are less advanced and Professional jobs in the south so that's why people migrate to north Italy as there are the industrial cities and young workers get more of a chance to gain more money there rather than working on a farm.
