The Upper front unit unbolts beneath the manifold cover. It is a barrrel shape CAT about 6 inches long by 4.5 in diameter. (smaller than normal size or the one to the rear.) The cheapest I found on the web was at rockauto.com, But i only checked 3 or 4.-- Price nov 2008 was $221 plus $17 in shipping. 15mm wrench on nuts on CAT. Deep socket would be best with extender add to socket. ( I use a regular open end wrinch). Also, Use "liquid wrench" or something to loosen. Medium Pretty easy if you can turn a wrench.
