Why do you think that perfume for a woman smells different from mens cologne?

ANSWER: It has to do with the real animal musks and pheromones that are used in perfumes and colognes. Scents that attract females are used in men's cologne and scents that attract males are used in women's perfumes. What we find attractive is at a subconscious instinct level having to do with the sex drive. There are a lot a florals used in both scents too - flowers for women and woodsy smells for men, but again, these scents trigger a sexual response in our brains if we like it.
