To open the hood of a Volvo XC60, first, locate the hood release lever inside the vehicle, usually found on the driver's side near the footwell. Pull the lever to release the primary latch. Then, go to the front of the vehicle, slide your hand under the hood, and find the secondary latch, which you need to lift to fully open the hood.
