Rockefeller believed that, "Competition is a sin." Yet he was also a philanthropist. Competition is good for a capitalistic society like the US.

Competitors lower prices which draws the consumer to them. This doesn't sound

like something a philanthropist, someone who loves all people and wants to help

them, would say.
