What are the main causes of myoma?

Myomas, also known as uterine fibroids, are noncancerous growths in the uterus, and their exact cause remains unclear. However, they are believed to be influenced by hormonal factors, particularly estrogen and progesterone, which promote their growth. Genetic predispositions and environmental factors, such as diet and lifestyle, may also play a role in their development. Additionally, obesity and certain reproductive factors, such as early onset of menstruation and having never given birth, can increase the risk of developing myomas.
