How many B52 bombers were built?

A total of 744 B-52 Stratofortress bombers were built by Boeing between 1952 and 1962. The B-52 has undergone several upgrades and modifications over the years, and it remains in service with the U.S. Air Force today, primarily in the B-52H variant. Despite the large number produced, only a fraction of these remain operational.
