Is it fine to catch a frog with your hands?

No, it is not okay. When the oils on a frog's skin that it uses to protect itself from certain diseases are exposed to your hands, they lose those oils and never get them back. And the fewer oil frogs have on their skin, the bigger chance they have of dieing from diseases. Now if you want to kill a frog then pick it up all you want (but I suggest you don't do so!)
