How do you replace the high mount brake light on 2003 taurus?

You should be able to push and pry that whole assembly off of the deck lid, it just pops up. You don't have to remove the decklid or anything. Then you just disconnect the wire running to it and you should be able to just slide that whole led strip out and put the new one in. Then reconnect the wire and pop the assembly back into place.
