How will Goiter is detected by?

Goiter is typically detected through a physical examination where a healthcare provider palpates the neck to check for swelling of the thyroid gland. Imaging tests such as ultrasound may be used to assess the size and structure of the thyroid. Blood tests are also conducted to measure thyroid hormone levels and evaluate for underlying conditions, such as hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism. In some cases, a biopsy may be performed to rule out cancer.
