What does it mean if a boy looked at you several times today and then looked away quickly also he usually seems to avoid me is this because he is shy and does he like me all of a sudden?

If you don't know him, he might want to get to know you. You shouldn't be scared or concerned. He is probably just curious. He might also like you.. maybe the way you act around your friends (personality) and looks makes him like you without knowing you. If you do know him, he might be shy now that he likes you. Or something could be bugging him.
