What if they 17 year old has no place to live except own their own are they an adult then?

As far as I know a 17 year old actually has to go to court to become emancipated. ANd how many 17 yr olds do you know that has that kind of money. I do agree however that there are no services for 17 yrs old and Changing Course Foundation would like to change that. We have develpoed a program and are beginning to look for funding to start a home for 17 yr olds that have no place to go. We will offer, job services, education if needed and a home for these you until they reach 18 or have secured a good place to live their education and a job that can support them.
