It certainly is! My grandparents met when they were almost done with highschool, and now it is close to 60 years, 8 children, and almost 30 grandchildren, and about 15 great grandchildren later, also my parents met when my mother was 14 and my father was 17, and have been together ever since, and are coming up on their 23rd anniversary. Anything is possible.
Yes!
I met my husband senior year. We got married 4 months after graduation. And this year we will be celebrating our 19th anniversary.
Yes, it is very possible for high school relationships to end up in marriage and last. It's not very common though because people change a lot in the teen and early adult years.
Yes, it is certainly possible. I have two friends (one male, one female) that married their high school sweethearts and they have been married for 38 and 40 years.
As the other poster said it is not all that common. I think it's healthier to leave high school, either go out and see the worl or go to college, make new friends and find the career you would like. It's better to get to know yourself and become independent before settling into marriage.
It is true. Some relationships evolve into marrige. But not all do. My husband ans I met after my graduation. He lived in Baltiore and I lived in Troy,Ohio. Now we're in Colorado. My husband and I are now happily married for 18 years.
