In 1095, Pope Urban II, Rome's Pope, organised a crusade to conquer Jerusalem. There was 30000-35000 crusades+ calvary ready to advance against the Muslims who were still conquerors of Jerusalem.

In 1099, the Crusades has reached Jerusalem and conquered the Muslims with their famous big red cross sign.
