How can you fix a automatic antenna that is stuck and the motor is still trying to take it down causing the motor to get hot?

2 solutions; quickest and easiest is to pull the fuse; the more complicated is removing the side panel or the panel that covers the antenna and disconnecting the power source that connects to the antenna motor. This worked for an Oldsmobile Delta 88. I would think it should work for most cars.
