What do you do if it wont let you join your friends game xbox?

Firstly check your internet status. If the NAT type is open, you are fine but if not, reset your router.

Some games are a bit buggy like cant join a joinable game etc. If you have a connection with no problems, its not you. It will be mostly your friend(s) or the game.
