What can kids do to get involved in being good citizens?

Hi, One good way is to do volunteer work. Volunteer work not only helps you practice good citizenship but, teaches you other skills as well such as, job skills, social skills, people skills, listening skills, communication skills and all sorts of positive skills. It also teaches you how to resolve conflict because you will come across that in your daily dealings with people. It is important to learn how to resolve conflict in an appropriate manner. SO, not only will volunteer work teach you many skills and prepare you for a career in the future but, it will give you great self esteem in knowing you helped other people. That is what being a good citizen is allabout, being involved and making a difference.
