I read somewhere that Rope Jumping is very calorie consuming, surprisingly more than jogging and biking. since you need to jump and use your legs , thighs, arms and body core muscles.. and the faster and higher you jump the better. you can reach up to 500 caloris per hour or on average 350 calories.
I heared that biking can take up 400 per hour.
Depends of your pace, if you jump for around 5 hours, you´ll burn more calories than Lance Armstrong at the Tour de France. I can burn 800 kcal per hour running or cycling, but this number depends of my weight, gender, age, height...
