Currently Los Angeles Laker's forward, Ron Artest wears the number 37 starting in the 2009-10 season in honor of the late Michael Jackson's Thriller album earning the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Charts for 37 weeks. The other two players were Jack Smiley (1949) and Nick Van Exel (2004).
