What does the word urgent mean does it mean you pay attention or ingnore it?

Not only must you pay attention to urgent matters, you must pay attention to them NOW. Urgent things are time sensitive. If you are strapped to a time bomb that will go off in one minute, you urgently need someone to defuse it. If you are having a baby and the head is starting to appear, you urgently need midwife help. If nature is calling, you need a bathroom, but if nature is calling so insistently that you won't have clean underwear in a minute, you need a bathroom urgently.
