One of the most respected sources for obtaining estimated pricing of a used car is Kelly Blue Book, which has been in operation for over 30 years. Prior to the advent of the digital age and the widespread use of computers, the Kelly Blue Book was indeed published annually in book form. Now with the arrival of the digital age, Kelly Blue Book has predominantly moved to a digital format and provide the pricing of used cares on their website. A nice feature of the KBB publication is that it provides several different prices for each used vehicle. The three different are: 1) retail price [what a car dealer might charge for the vehicle question, 2) mileage & condition of the vehicle, and lastly the wholesale price of the vehicle, which is the price one dealer charges another car dealer for the vehicle in question.
