What are all the different kinds of metal?

A metal alloy is the mixture of two metals to form a new metal with different properties. So there are many, many different alloys with various combinations of 1 or more metals. Some have special common names but most have technical names and symbols.

Chrome is an alloy that uses chrominum.

Steel is an alloy of iron that has high carbon content.
