In most of the Indian beers, glycerin is used as a preservative. But you cannot find that on the label. This organic compound is widely used in sweets and other bakery products. This is a colorless viscus fluid, which is low in toxic level. But experts says that when this compound added in beer, causes the hangover effect or headache.
