What is an elimination dinner?

It's a dinner that you buy a ticket to with a number on it (usually 200 tickets are sold)and through the course of the dinner numbers are drawn off of a board these numbers are eliminated from winning the big prize . When they get to the last number, the person who has the last number wins something...like money.
